Drew was born Jan. 18, 1996, in Bismarck, the son of Craig and Michelle (Nielsen) Bohlander. During high school, Drew worked at Cenex and Perkins, where he made many friends, including his soulmate, Kelsey Nelson. He graduated from Century High School in 2014 and went on to learn the trade of welding, taking great pride in his work at Mac Heaters and Bobcat.
Drew was a member of the Sterling Rural Fire Department, a talented guitarist, enjoyed participating in tractor treks, camping, ice fishing, boating and bonfires with his friends. He was a caring and charismatic man who brought out the best in everyone who knew him, was always willing to help anyone in need, and never let challenges hold him back from doing the things he loved.
Drew is survived by his loving parents, Craig and Michelle Bohlander, and his siblings, Kaitlin Bohlander, Chase Bohlander, Brandon Bohlander and Leesa Eckroth; and his girlfriend, Kelsey Nelson. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Wilmer and Katie Bohlander; and maternal grandmother, Florence Nielsen; along with uncles, cousins and too many friends to name.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jorgen "John" Nielsen; his uncles, Ricky, Jay and Randy Nielsen and Douglas Bohlander; and his aunt, Sandra Nielsen.
