Ed Holta Obituary
Ed Holta, 3402 Oregon Drive, Anchorage, Alaska, formerly of Bismarck, died April 14, 2004, in an Anchorage medical center after a long and courageous illness. Services will be held Saturday, April 17, at Our Lady of Guadeloupe Parish, Anchorage.
Ed was born Dec. 27, 1932, in Bismarck, to Bjorn and Clara (Papacek) Holta, also of Bismarck. Donna Senger and Ed graduated from St. Mary's High Class of 1951. Donna Senger and Ed Holta were married May 29, 1954, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bismarck. They would have been married 50 years on May 29, 2004. Ed worked in x-ray technology at St. Alexius Hospital and also worked at the Garrison Hospital.
Ed is survived by his wife, Donna Senger Holta, formerly of Bismarck; five sons and daughters-in-law, Robert, Anchorage, Otto, Palm Springs, Calif., Eric and Ike, both of Anchorage, and Jason, Las Vegas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela Youngman, Anchorage, and Tammara Follows, New Castle, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Clara Papacek Holta, Anchorage; two sisters, Georgine, Anchorage, and Peggy, Fairbanks, Alaska; one brother, Dick, Alaska; and many close relatives and friends.
Ed will be greatly and sadly missed by his loving and caring family and all who knew him.
Ed was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
