BROOKLYN PARK, MN - Edith M. Melhouse, 101, passed away on January 19, 2022, in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. She was born on March 12, 1920, in Max, North Dakota to Charles O. and Anna (Thedin) Bostrom. She was the youngest of eight children.

Edie attended Max schools and graduated from Renville (MN) High School in 1938. She received a Standard Teaching Degree from Minot State Teachers College in Minot, North Dakota. Edie shared a great deal of grace, positivity, gratitude and love during these last two challenging years when her family was not able to see her in person for several months. We are thankful for the exceptional care given by St. Therese of Oxbow Lake and by North Memorial Hospice.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: James and Peggy Melhouse of Westminster, Colorado; her daughter and son-in-law: Dianne and Goeffrey Law of Champlin, Minnesota; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
