Elizabeth Stensby

NEWROCKFORD - Elizabeth "Liz" Stensby, 82, New Rockford, formerly Minnewaukan, died Oct. 24, 2008, at Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd, New Rockford. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at St. John's Catholic Church, New Rockford. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Minnewaukan.

She is survived by two sons, Pat, Minnewaukan, and Wayne, Belle Fourche, S.D.; three daughters, Judy Compton, New Rockford, Lynn Yri, Leeds, and JoAnn Williams, Aberdeen, S.D.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Hager, Wichita, Kan., and Gene Hager, Grahams Island, Minnewaukan; four sisters, Helen Bragg, Medford, Ore., Katherine Nelson, Devils Lake, Dorothy Parrish, Crary, and Carol McGuire, Pillsbury.
