Eva Schulz, 94, Bismarck, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024, at a local care facility. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30AM, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services, Mandan with Pastor Bob Caranicas officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Bismarck. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Eva was born February 7, 1930, at Emmons County, North Dakota, to John and Regina (Roehrich) Feist. She was raised in Burnstad and the surrounding area, living in a sod house in her early years.

She was a patient, friendly soul, living her life with a servant heart. She worked as a teacher in a one room schoolhouse in Logan County and Wishek and later in the Red Owl bakery, YMCA Daycare and ND Job Service. She volunteered for many years, earning the Volunteer of the Year Award for Dakota Boys Ranch Foundation in 1999 and 2002.

Eva had a passion for Pinochle and was a longtime member of a Pinochle group. She also enjoyed knitting, flowers and cooking. German food was a specialty.

She is survived by two sons, Myron Schulz, Bismarck and Darrel Schulz, Glasgow, MT; two sisters, Anne and Helen; one brother, Paul; and grandchildren, Karla and Kyle.

Eva was preceded in death by her parents, John and Regina Feist; husband, Roland; son, Arlen; and siblings, Frank, Jim, Pat, Joe, Pete, John, Mary, and Irene.

Funeral arrangements are being made with DaWise-Perry / Mandan Crematory, Mandan, North Dakota.
