Grace Trana Obituary
Grace Jang Trana
Grace Eun Mee Jang Trana (Hindes) was born on April 5, 1970, in South Korea and she died Oct. 16, 2021 at Essentia Health Center, Fargo at 51 years of COVID-19.
She was adopted in 1980 by Ken and Dale Trana and lived with her bothers Allen, Chris and Paul, at Parshall and Wahpeton. She graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1989, went to UND for one year, then worked as a nanny in several states, the last being California. She worked there as a hearing aid specialist for many years.
She married Richard Hindes in 1995 and had one daughter, Helena. They all moved to Fargo in 2019. Grace and Richard divorced in 2021. Grace was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of ND and took great joy in being a mother, aunti, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, friend, and gourmet cook.
She is survived by her daughter, Helena; three brothers Allen (Molly) Jang, Chris (Krista) Le, and Paul (Tanya) Trana; stepdaughter Kristina Hindes, stepson Adam Hindes, her parents Dale Carmen and Ken Trana; and nieces and nephews Kiana Le; Ben and Ruby Trana; Adryenne, Annissa, Axton and Amelia Jang; A.J., Brooke and Hubble Hindes.
Grace was cremated and there will be a memorial service in the spring in Fargo.
She was a survivor of many hardships and learned how to love generously in spite of them.
We will miss her very much.
