Ignatz Bosch Obituary
April 16, 1933 - June 25, 2025
Ignatz "Iggie" Bosch, 92, (if Iggie were here he would say 92 years and 2 months), passed away June 25, 2025, in a Bismarck Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 30 at 10:00AM at Church of Corpus Christi. Visitation will be Sunday, June 29 from 3:00-4:00PM with a rosary/vigil at 4:00PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home.
Iggie was born on April 16, 1933, in Linton to Fred G. and Caroline (Ell) Bosch. He was raised and educated in Linton.
On November 17, 1953, he was united in marriage to Frances Bosch in Linton. They lived in Linton until 1956 and then moved to Bismarck. Iggie worked in the auto industry his entire life starting with Fleck Motor Sales and ending with Wilhelm's when he retired in 1995. He was an excellent self-taught accordion player and often played for weddings and other events in his younger days. On Saturday afternoons you could always find him watching Polka Spotlight on television.
He is survived by a son, Gary; daughter, Sharon (Doug) Cerkoney and Grand puppy, Bailey; one brother, Clarence (Jeanette) Bosch, two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Iggie was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances; daughter, Marlys Kay Bosch; brother, Pete Bosch; and Grand puppy, Sammy.
