Jack Morris was my Troop Commander in 1/10 Cavalry. He was certainly my first mentor I had and the one who´s advice stayed with me for my entire Army Career. He always knew what we were up to when we were flying and he was tracking us in a CUCV (Truck) in Colorado. He always knew where we were instead of suppose to be. May God rest his soul. See you at Fiddler´s Green Shamrock Jack.

Jack Morris was an outstanding officer and role model. I had the honor of working for him 3 times and each time he was a teacher and a mentor. He made a huge difference early in my career and his example and instruction stayed with me. May God rest him.

Col. Morris was a true inspiration and an amazing husband and father that I had the honor and privilege to know. He inspired me to do better while I was in the service and he always took the time to give me a life lesson when we were together. I was blessed being touched by his wisdom , kindness, and has made an everlasting impact to me. While our time may not have been long, he will always be remembered. God Speed Colonel Morris.
