Leona Freadrich

GOODRICH -- Leona J. Freadrich, 80, Goodrich, died Nov. 22, 2003, at a Mayville nursing home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Peace Lutheran Church, Goodrich. Burial will be in Goodrich City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Hertz Funeral Home, Harvey.

Leona June Freadrich was born June 11, 1923, to Clarence and Mathilda (Hagen) Kittelson. She grew up and attended school in the Goodrich area. She married Gerhard Freadrich on April 13, 1941. She lived on a farm in the Goodrich area, and moved into Goodrich in 1996.

Leona was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary in Goodrich. She enjoyed having coffee in Denhoff with her friends and playing bingo on Friday nights. Leona also enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Arizona.

Leona is survived by seven daughters, Carol (Curtis Trautman) Zeeb, Jamestown, Rita (Verlin Crowe) Crowe, Chubback, Idaho, Phyllis (Bob Berg) Berg, Ladysmith, Wis., Candace (Ron Sanders) Sanders, Eagle, Colo., Lynnel (Clint Savage) Savage, Fargo, Wanda (Gary Radloff) Freadrich, Portland, and Laina (Randy Larson) Maqaw, West Fargo; three sons, Terry (Hilda) Freadrich, Bismarck, Keith (JoAnn) Freadrich, Hazen, and Troy (Holly) Freadrich, Fargo; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; her sister, Evangeline (Richard) Tulp, Valley City; and her brothers, Milo Kittelson, Fargo, Harley (Norma) Kittelson, Underwood, Minn.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Marvin Kittelson and Clare Kittelson; her sisters, Fern and Shirley; and one grandson, Lee Zeeb.
