Margaret Theresa Mennella, 87, Bismarck, went to be with her Savior on Aug. 25, 2011.
Margaret was born Oct. 7, 1923, in Boston, Mass., to Mr. and Mrs. Domenic Montesanti. She was the eighth of 10 children.
Margaret married James C. Mennella on May 5, 1946. They lived in Boston, before relocating to Hawthorne, Calif., in 1948. They were blessed with four daughters.
Margaret loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She spent hours reading books and everyday would study and read her Bible.
Margaret was a movie buff - in particular - the classics. She could tell you just about anything you would want to know about the movies and actors in them.
She loved her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also moved to compassion for friends in need and loved people.
Margaret had a tenacious and feisty spirit and was deeply loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Margaret is survived by one sister, Marie Souza, Revere, Mass. She is also survived by her four children, Edie (Paul) Deichert, Bismarck, Marie (Milton) Marquette, San Antonio, Texas, Dawna (Rick) Bollinger, Madera, Calif., and Debra (Doug) Clarke, Yuma, Ariz. In addition, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren survive her.
Her parents, her beloved husband, six brothers and two sisters preceded Margaret in death.
