Marlene Malchert, 91, passed away on November 13th, 2025.
A Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Harvest Global Methodist Church, 1122 N. 3rd St. Suite B., Bismarck, ND. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
Burial will be held at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.

Debbie, Brian, Gail and family, I am saddened to learn of the loss of sweet Marlene. I have indelible memories of her from my childhood years. There was good reason I called her "mom" because she was that major of a nurturing presence to me and my sister. Her kindness, love and exquisite care for us during times my parents were working, left positive impressions that will never leave me. She and Skip were such good friends to my parents when they were alive. I loved our family camping trips and driftwood bonfires. How fortunate I am to have had the Malcherts in my life! Losing parents is so difficult. My heart aches for you.

To Marlene's family. I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Debbie & I spending time with them, especially in Hazelton, the hours of cribbage we used to play and the laughter, fun and fellowship. I was so grateful that thru the years she kept in touch with me thru BD & Christmas cards. She was a kind, gentle, quiet Christian woman and I am assured she is resting in the Lord's loving arms.
