Roy Overby Obituary
Roy P. Overby, 84, Bismarck, died April 27, 2006, at a Bismarck hospital. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at Parkway Funeral Service Chapel, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at at Binford Cemetery.
Roy is survived by his wife, Lillian, Bismarck; two sons, Wayne (Dawn) Overby, Conroe, Texas, and Keith (Lorna) Overby, San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Karen (Larry) Nelson, Bismarck and Mary Kay (Gaylord) Modin, Santa Clara, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Cleon Moe, Michigan. We are thinksing about you the family as you say goodby to your husband,father, grandfather, great-grandfather uncle, and friend. I remember my first days in Fargo as a nursing student how much your family ment to me. Now many years have gone by and still a fresh thankfulness is in my heart for the constant example Roy has been.We think of your family espically today, the funeral and burial. Lillian, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this sad time. It is such a blessing for Roy to have peace and be at rest. It is so hard to let them go, but you have a lot of good memories to ease the pain. I always remember Roy's good sense of humor. God bless you and comfort you during this time.
