Stephen (Steve) Morrell
BISMARCK - Stephen (Steve) Morrell passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 89.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 19, at 10 a.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church. Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Steve was born to Martin and Eva (Schaff) Morrell. In 1954 he married Ruby (Haag), they divorced in 1978. In 1984 he married Joanne (Potts, Nelson) and they were together until Joanne's passing in 2021.
He is survived by daughters Susan Frey (Jerry), Shelly Ciavarella (Mark), Stephanie Schaner and Sheila Braun and son Rodney Morrell (Fran); sister Lorraine Klein; brother Larry Morrell (Marina). Stepchildren: Wendell Nelson (Dorothy); Bryan Nelson (Marian); Marie Nelson, Joyce Waller; 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Steve was preceded in death by wife Joanne; his parents; brothers Philip, Tony, Peter, Mark, Nick; sister Betty (Leib) and step-son Randy Nelson.
