Theresa Reis, 90, Bismarck, passed away Jan. 2, 2016, at a Bismarck hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Church of Saint Anne with the Rev. Corey Nelson officiating. Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Bismarck Funeral Home with a rosary/vigil service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Theresa was born on March 10, 1925, to Anton and Nathalia (Deichert) Reinbold in Strasburg. She was raised and educated in Strasburg.
Theresa loved her family. She also loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and embroidering. She was a very kind and giving person, expecting nothing in return. We all will miss her.
She is survived by two daughters, Caroline (Victor) Fleck, Bismarck, and Elaine (Terry) Kreiter, Bismarck; three sons, David (Ginger) Reis, Glendive, Mont., DeWayne (Linda) Reis, Bismarck, and John (Janette) Reis, Omaha, Neb.; her grandchildren, Ronda (Rick) Hertz, Shawn (Nola) McNeally, Mark (Julie) Fleck, Travis (Susan) Kuntz, Michael Reis, Jeremiah Reis, Jess Reis, Amanda Reis, Todd (Tara) Fleck, Eric (Heather) Reis, Scott (Jeanna) Reis, Jody Reis and Angela (Andrew) Evans; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; one grandson, John Edward Fleck; and her parents.
