Vivian Kostelecky
Vivian M. Kostelecky, age 68 of Little Canada, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Aug. 18, 2021. She was born February 26, 1953 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Clarence and Verna Goblirsch (Schull). Vivian was married to Jerome Kostelecky on Aug. 13, 1988 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mandan. Vivian was the epitome of selflessness and love. She cherished her family, her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Vivian was an avid gardener and quilter, enjoyed camping and being outdoors.
Vivian is survived by her husband, Jerome; children, George Evans, Sarah (Jeremy) Bosch and Rose (Jordan) Leese; grandchildren, Emily and Garrett Evans, Mackenzie and Logan Bosch and Morgan and Magnus Leese; brothers, John, Jeff (Linda), Dave (Micky), Robert (Kathy), Doug and Kenny Goblirsch; sisters, Shirley (Reece) Hoelscher, Carolyn (Joel) Darge, Judy Goblirsch, Karen (Dean) Helget, Sharon (Mark) Hanson and Cheryl (Brad) Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews, family, and friends; in-laws, Albert and Betty Kostelecky, Robert, Eugene, Allen (Shelly), and Mark (Lola) Kostelecky; Diane (Doug) Sjolander, Sue (Steve) Fangman and Nancy (Mike) Friesz.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Verna and Clarence Goblirsch and brother, Rick Goblirsch.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Holcomb-Henry-Boom-Purcell Funeral Home, 515 Hwy 96 W., at Mackubin, Shoreview.
Mass of Christian burial: 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26 (visitation 10 to 11 a.m.) at St. Odilia Catholic Church, 3495 Victoria St. N, Shoreview. Interment St. Odilia Prayer Garden. Memorials preferred to CJD Foundation.
