William "Charlie" Higgins, 76, Mandan, passed away Dec. 6, 2019, at Knife River Care Center, Beulah. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at DaWise-Perry Funeral Services with Rev. Bruce Adams officiating. Visitation is scheduled for the hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Mandan Union Cemetery.
William was born Aug. 11, 1943, in Bismarck to William and Clara (Borden) Higgins. He was raised and educated in the Mandan area graduating from Mandan High School. For many years he worked at Pride. He loved music and was the organist at Mandan United Methodist Church for several years. He could play almost any tune without the music. He enjoyed traveling with his family around the world and was the one who could look at the map and tell his parents where they need to go to reach their destination.
He is survived by his stepmother Letty Higgins along with numerous cousins and friends.
William was preceded in death by his parents.
