Ronald Cain Obituary

Ronald Curtis Cain, 83, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Duke University Hospital. Born in Bladen County, Mr. Cain was the son of the late Ferdinand Cain and Margarita Shaw Cain.

Mr. Cain graduated from NC State University and was a member of the ROTC program. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Mr. Cain is survived by his wife, Patricia Cain; sons, Jim Cain, Greg Cain and wife Dessi; step-daughter, Tammy Fowler and husband Rip; step-son, Edwin Scott West; and grandchildren, Jared Fowler, Brittany Fowler, Daniel Cain, Rachel Cain, and Ethan Cain.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3rd at Windsor United Methodist Church in 12863 NC-242, Elizabethtown, NC 28337. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 2nd from 6 to 8 p.m. at Clements Funeral Home in Durham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the NC State Wolfpack Club by mail to PO Box 37100 Raleigh NC 27627.

The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. in Durham. Online condolences may be made at www.clementsfuneralservice.com.
