James Vaughn Obituary
Mill Spring - James Vaughn, 77, of Mill Spring, NC, passed away peacefully at his home on May 31, 2021 after a battle with cancer.
James was a retired Army Staff Sergeant who loved his family and took care of many people and would help anyone. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorcas; mother, Agnes Daisey Lance; sister, Carolyn Nanny and a baby brother, Wade Newton Vaughn.
James is survived by his children, Sherry Vaughn, Anthony Vaughn and his wife, Crissey, Jessica Heatherly and Teresa Parris; grandchildren, Dakoda Vaughn, Sean Hudson, Tina Brady and her husband, Ricky, Brian Laughter and his wife Sammy, Tucker Limburg and Jasmine Limburg; two great-grandchildren, Joseph and James Brady; several nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters in law.
A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, June 6, 2021 in The Chapel in The Pines of Jackson Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
