Ollie McMinn Obituary

Ollie E. McMinn, age 95 of Hendersonville, died Monday, February 27th, 2017 at the Laurels of Hendersonville. She was born November 6th, 1921 in Henderson County; a daughter of the late, George P. McMinn and Anna J. Clark McMinn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Edna McMinn, Myrtle Holbert, Ethel Baldwin and Thelma J. "Penny" McMinn; three brothers, Carroll McMinn, William S. McMinn, Sr. and Harley H. McMinn; and by her special friend, Bill Glover.
She graduated from Fletcher High School in 1940 and retired from Olin Corp. following 37 years of employment.
She is survived by one brother, Ralph W. McMinn and his wife, Cora; and by many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 at Locust Grove Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend Dan Blackwell. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
