Carol Jean Johnson, born October 11, 1934, in Sioux City, Iowa, passed away peacefully

surrounded by her loved ones.

Carol is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Harold Johnson, and their two sons,

Brad and Greg, as well as, their families, who carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and

strength.

A woman of quiet grace and steadfast faith, Carol lived a life rooted in family, friendship,

and community.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in English, inspiring her love of reading. She

was often found with a good book in hand and a story to share.

She had a successful career in interior design, helping others bring their dreams to life. Her

European roots, keen sense of style and classic designs, delighted her clients. Her designs

were equally cherished in her homes by friends and family, always giving a warm and

welcoming atmosphere.

She loved long walks, both for the exercise and for the chance to take in the beauty of the

world around her. Her curiosity and love of good food led her to start several gourmet clubs

over the years, bringing people together around a table-something that reflected her gift

for connection and hospitality.

Carol's circle of friends was wide and deep, and she cherished each relationship. Known for

her warmth, humor, and generosity. Her faith in God guided her life, and she lived with a

quiet strength and conviction that inspired those around her.

She will be dearly missed, but her influence endures-in her family, in the lives of her

friends, and in the countless small moments of kindness she wove into the fabric of her

community.
