Loved Aunt Catherine. Such a sweet and charming gal. She was warm and jolly with a twinkle in her eye and a sunny voice.
The Hickory County community was blessed to have her working for their benefit for so many years.
Hard to believe Gayle is gone too. Those 2 women were lovely, joyful beings, caring and thoughtful.
Catherine cherished her kids, Tommy and Gayle, while clever and ornery Uncle Gene made her giggle and kept her on her toes. They were simple some of Wheatland´s salt of the Earth.
So Thankful!

I have many pleasent memories of Aunt Katherine and Uncle Gene. They were always very welcoming to me even as a rambunctious young man. She was very loving with us and my kids as we were older and had our on place on the lake. Our prayers are with you.

I worked with Catherine at the Hickory County Welfare Office in 1969. She was a fine lady who cared about people.
