Sharon Duncan Obituary

Sharon Kay Duncan, 80, of Marshfield, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at Cox Hospital, surrounded by family. Born March 9, 1944 to Ora and Dollie Jarman of Bolivar, Sharon was the youngest of 11 children. She was united in marriage June 30, 1962, to Dale Duncan.
Sharon worked for Busch's Florist and Concord Custom Cleaners prior to retiring.
Among her talents, Sharon was a gifted seamstress. An accomplished league bowler, she amassed an impressive display of trophies. She enjoyed antique shopping and trying new restaurants. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with family wherever she was. Raised in the Baptist faith, Sharon looked forward to being reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dale, son Sandy Duncan, young siblings Leon, Ceon, and Bobby Gene Jarman, sister Cora Lee Smith, brother Ora Jarman, brother Willie Jarman, sister Wilma Wickham, sister Lou Etta Bryan, and great-granddaughter McKenzie Mallicoat. She is survived by her daughter Angela Reid (Raymond), daughter-in-law Jennifer Beckmeyer (Mark); grandchildren Tasha Winkler (Chris), Kayla Duncan (Langston), Nathaniel Duncan, Joel, Duncan, Lake Reid, Rossiana Reid, and Carys Reid; great-grandchildren Clayton Winkler, Cadence Winkler, Haley Winkler, and Octavius Duncan; brothers Ed Jarman and Obie Jarman (Linda), brother-in-law Craig Sellers (Charlotte), and many dear nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating Sharon's life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1 at Marshfield Assembly of God, 1538 W. Washington, Marshfield.
