Tim and the Anderson Family....so sorry for your loss. Dave was a wonderful, blessed man who touched so many souls. I will always recall a very inspiring convo I had with him in Spokane not long ago....may your hearts be at peace knowing he is with Jesus. Many prayers and blessings for you all...Mike Maronick GU 84, Seeley Lake MT

Father David has been our Chaplain at Immaculate Heart Retreat Center for over a year. A great mentor, Priest and Friend. He will be sorely missed for his quiet helpfulness and kindness.

Dear Dave, I was blessed to be your sister-in-law for 25 years. I am grateful for all the time you shared with our family. I think of the many dinners at home, the shared holidays, conversations on the deck, and the way you loved the boys. In all my interactions with you all these years, I never once saw you angry, frustrated, not even irritated. You exuded calmness, gentleness and kindness. You were always one of the first up from the dinner table to help me with the dishes. That repeated simple act of thoughtfulness never escaped me. You left way too soon, Dave - it is hard to find solace when the grief is so raw. But you served our Lord faithfully for 28 years. And I know your reward is great and that our Savior lovingly welcomed you Home. I will miss you. Thank you for all that you were to all of us. Rest in eternal peace, dear Dave. With love, Meg

Dear Fr. David,
Your departure from among us was way too soon. Everything you did to touch souls for their salvation and God´s glory is written in bold letters in the Book of Life and on our hearts. We feel the emptiness of your absence and tremendous gratitude that you were a significant part of our lives. We will never forget. Be at peace now and one with Jesus Whom you loved and worshipped. The tenderness of His love for you outstrips ours and now enfolds you eternally.
Proudly a brother and friend in the Lord,
Fr. L. Michael Pope, S.J.
