Darrell Rapp Obituary
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday evening, November 6 at Howard Funeral Home in Boonville, Mo. The funeral service is 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 7 at Howard Funeral Home with Elder Jim Howard officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Pilot Grove City Cemetery.
Darrell Wayne Rapp was born March 2, 1957 in Boonville, Mo. the son of Lawrence Rapp and Bonnie Louise Widel Rapp. Darrell graduated Pilot Grove High School in 1975 and completed his education at CMSU in Warrensburg, Mo. Darrell married Angela Lassiter in Pilot Grove on May 20, 2001. For 16 years, he worked with Naught-Naught Agency. Darrell was an avid fly fisherman, enjoyed duck hunting, golfing, and playing cards competitively. Family meant the most to him. He was often found driving his lawnmower with his granddaughters on his lap to the Rocheport General Store for their favorite ice cream.
Darrell is survived by his wife Angela Rapp; daughters Mallory (Grant) Jamison of Seattle, Wash., Jenna Rapp of Columbia, Mo., Rachel (Drew) Clark of Columbia, Mo.; and sons Elliott (Amy) Lassiter of Pittsburg, Penn., Lee (Taylor) Lassiter of Columbia, Mo., and Samuel Lassiter of Columbia, Mo. Also surviving are his parents Lawrence and Bonnie Rapp, his brother Jerry (Debbie) Rapp of Boonville, Mo, and sister Janet (the late Jim) Shipman of Pilot Grove, Mo. He will be dearly missed by his nephews Brooks (Hadley) Rapp, Austin Rapp, Rob (Jessica) Shipman, Tim Shipman; and his grandchildren Amelie Clark, Adelaide Clark, Nathan Lassiter and Meadow Lassiter.
