Charles V. "Pepaw" Evans left his earthly home and entered into his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in Borger.

He was born May 16, 1936 in Reydon, Oklahoma to Charles Granvil and Gladys May (Mariner) Evans. On February 20, 1956, Charles Evans and Bobbie Edwards were married at Tucumcari, New Mexico.

Mr. Evans was a member of The Church, Stinnett. For many years, he was an operator in the petroleum industry. He also worked in the maintenance department at Golden Plains Hospital. He served in the United States Army National Guard.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Marie Jones.

Left behind to forever cherish his memory is his loving wife, Bobbie "MeMaw"; 3 daughters: Lisa Young of Stinnett, Reva Evans of Amarillo and Cora Lee Evans and Mike Butsch of Mt. Angel, Oregon; a son, Gary Dale Evans and wife Barbara June of Stinnett; 2 brothers: Vernon Lee Evans and wife Sharon of Carlsbad, New Mexico and Glen Evans and wife Wanda of Quay, New Mexico; 9 grandchildren: Randy, Jamie, Alicia, Stormy, Jeffery, Gary, Ryan, Tiffany and Tylor; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, 206 W. 1st Street, Borger.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Stinnett.
