In addition, Cynthia received a Master of Science degree in Health Care Administration from California College for Health Science; she went on to serve in a multitude of executive nursing positions throughout Texas and also held professional membership in district, state, and national nurses associations.

Cynthia was married to the love of her life, Charles LaGrone, and was the mother of two children...Larry Dale and Stephanie Grace, ( who was born during the LaGrone family missionary service in Argentina) two grandchildren: Lauren and Antony, and three great-grandchildren: Ethan, Aliyah, and Melanie. Cynthia was one of 3 sisters, the other two being Mary Howell and Frances Collins. Following a severe heart attack, Cynthia Ann LaGrone left her earthly home and passed into the arms of her saviour on the 20th of October, 2021.

Funeral services will be held in her Church home, Fairlanes Baptist Church on Monday October 25th at 2:00 p.m., preceded by a family luncheon at 12:00 noon.

It must be said that so much of Cynthia LaGrone's, life, from professional beginning, to her final hours on this earth, involved the heart; a great deal was necessary for someone who, though short in stature, had such a HUGE HEART.

Indeed, "what a spitfire in a tiny package she was!"
