Irma E. Hinds, 92, of Borger, passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Visitation is scheduled for 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 29 at Burgin Funeral Home, 200 S. McGee, Borger, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30 at White Deer Cemetery, White Deer, Texas.
She was born on June 15, 1929 in Monroe, Louisiana to Tandy and Mable (Williams) McGlohan. She married John M. Hinds in Ulysses, Kansas on October 8, 1949. They moved to Borger and lived there until 2012, when they moved to Amarillo. In December 2015, Irma returned to Borger.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Fi and Borger Church of Christ.
Irma is preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, Tandy and Mable; three brothers, Roy, Charles, and Jerry; and two sisters, Mary Alice and Virginia.
Survivors include two daughters, Irma Jean Rynders of Houston and Barbara Goodgion of Borger; four grandchildren, Dee Dee Bennett of Canyon, Chad Goodgion of Highlands Village, Dustin Rynders of Houston, Jeremy Rynders of New York City.
She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, Amanda Hinders, Brooke Bennett, Katie Kelley, Hannah Bennett, Hailey Bennett, Kenadee Bennett, Coy Goodgion, Austen Goodgion, Blake Rynders, Eloise Rynders, and Wesley Rynders, along with four great great grandchildren, Amelia Hinders, Ian Hinders, Ralston Hinders, and Evan Phillips.
Irma was much loved and will be greatly missed.
