Memorial services for Lisa Diane (Hall) Helton, 56, of Amarillo, TX, will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Triumphant Truth Church 1701 S Manhattan St, Amarillo, TX, with Dr. Alberta Helton, officiating.
Lisa passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 in Amarillo, TX.
Lisa was born January 30, 1960 in Amarillo, TX, to Mr. Albert Hall and Mrs. Louise (Helms) Hall. She married Gary Helton on January 20, 1977 in El Paso, TX. Lisa enjoyed quilting, sewing, fishing, reading, and singing. She especially loved spending time with her family. Lisa was a formally licensed minister with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was an ordained minister through Abundant Life Ministries Fellowship. Lisa poured her heart and soul into her children and foster children. She and her husband were foster parents for approximately 35 years.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Gary Helton of Amarillo, TX; parents, Albert and Louise Hall, of Amarillo, TX; one son, Aaron Helton of New York City, NY; two daughters, Stephanie Helton of Amarillo, TX, Jennifer Wilkins of Denver, CO; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary Hall of Amarillo, TX; two sisters, Beverly Knox of Springfield, MO, Beckie Pinckard of Tool, TX; father-in-law, Earvin Helton, and mother-in-law, Winona Helton, of Amarillo, TX.
