Orlando Anaya Obituary

Orlando Anaya, 83 of Borger died Thursday March 30th in Amarillo. Rosary will be 6:00 pm Sunday at Minton Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Monday at St. John Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Minton Chatwell of Borger.

Orlando was born January 29, 1934 in Santa Rosa, NM to Guillermo Anaya and Eliza (Padilla) Anaya. He served in the US Army. He married Olga Ruiz July 7, 1956 in Borger. He was a long time parishioner of Saint John's Catholic Church. He worked for Lewis Hardware as a sales clerk. He loved to dance, fish, hunt and being with family. He was a lifetime member of Borger Elks Lodge and Knights of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Maria.

Orlando is survived by his wife Olga. Son Ricky and wife Debbie Anaya of Borger. Grandson Kristofer Anaya and wife Jaime, granddaughter Karrie Lay and Husband Dylan. Step grandsons Brandon Smith and wife Tana, Bradley Smith and wife Jessica. Brother William Anaya and wife Ricca of Albuquerque, NM. Sisters Carolina Grandstaff and husband Robert of Pine top-lakeside, AZ, Angie Krehbiel of Halstead, KS, Alice Montoya of Bernalillo,NM and Emma Bustamante of Albuquerque, NM. Six Great grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren and two step great great grand children.
Also numerous Nieces and nephews. All felt his love.
