Abraham F. Yanover

YANOVER, Abraham F. Greenacres, Fl. Beloved husband of Ida Syatt, entered into rest November 20, 2008. Devoted father of daughter Faye Korb; son Jonathan Yanover; and the late Michael Yanover. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Natanya, and Daniel Korb. Dr. Yanover was educated at Northeastern, Boston Univ., Harvard, N.Y.U., and Hebrew College. Dr. Yanover's career was quite extensive. He was Director of U.S.Y. of New England; Principal in the Milton & Swampscott Hebrew schools; Director of Camp Lown & Camp Yavneh; Director of the Bureau of Jewish Education of Southern N.J. & Greater Buffalo, N.Y. He was awarded an Honorary Degree of Dr. of Pedagogy by the Jewish Theological Seminary of N.Y. Services at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon Street, BROOKLINE, MA on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at 2:00pm. Burial at Linas Hatzedeck #2 Cemetery in Everett, Ma. Following the service the family will gather at the Courtyard Marriot, Brookline. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be donated to charity of your choice.
