Memories and Condolences

Not sure what to say?

Adele,

Your work is done, you did it very well! You set an example that others will hopefully use as a model for personal municipal involvement.

The Town of Plymouth, your Husband, your Family and ...your many Friends will miss you dearly.

Thank you for your candor and your zeal; Plymouth Parents have lost a tireless advocate for the public school system.

This world is lacking good honest people who are not self-promoters with personal agendas. In life there are givers and there are takers; you gave, and you gave...and then you gave some more. You did things for the right reason, you did them because you cared.

God bless you!

Your Friend

I didn't know Mrs Manfredi personally but followed her many years of dedication for things in the best interest of Plymouth. She was truly a person who cared about the town and its residents not for some self-serving agenda. She was a great lady. My sincere sympathies to Mr Manfredi and the whole Manfredi family. Thank You Mrs Manfredi for being you

"We've lost a very special person in Adele A. Manfredi. She was quick to laugh and share a story especially about growing up in Plymouth. Adele was respected and respectful. She was the most non-confrontational person I've ever known. She could speak before the Plymouth Town Meeting and make her case with the highest level of integrity and professionalism. She loved this town, the schools, the children, and most importantly her family. I'm proud to have served with her on the school committee, but even more proud to have called her a friend. To Dick and your family I send my deepest sympathy.

When I was a young mother and news reporter burning the candle at both ends, Adele was always so very kind to me. I always thought of her as a wonderful example of what a strong woman and mother could accomplish in life. Years later, I'd bump into her at Stop and Shop and she always took the time to ask after my girls. I always thanked her for her kindness all those years ago. I am sad to think I won't see her in the produce section again, or thank her again. Her family should be proud of the life she lived -- be it cut too short.

When I was a young mother and news reporter burning the candle at both ends, Adele was always so kind and helpful to me. She was smart, interesting, strong and compassionate. I Felt she was a true role model of what a mother and leader could be. I loved bumping into her years later -- she always asked after my girls and was truly interested in their lives. I always thanked her for being so kind to me all those years ago. I'm sad to think I won't see her near the melons in Stop and Shop to thank her again.
