Adeline M. Fietze

Of Milford, NH, and formerly of Lexington, MA, died peacefully in her summer home at Sebago Lake, Maine on Friday, August 22, 2008. She was 99 years old. Born in Benton Harbor, Michigan in 1909, she was one of thirteen children of August and Apolonia Steinke. She was a charter member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Amherst, NH, where she was very active. She was pre-deceased by her husband Julius "Doc" Fietze. Surviving members of her family are her daughter Marjorie Himmelman of Nashua, NH, her son Ronald Fietze and his wife Dorothy of Burlington, MA, her son Dennis Fietze and his wife Kristine of Milford, NH and her daughter Darlene Magiera and her husband Edward of Chelmsford, MA. She also is survived by ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granchild and numerous nephews and nieces. Calling hours will be Monday, August 25, 2008 from 4-7 PM at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St., NASHUA, NH. The Funeral will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3 Craftsman Lane, Amherst, NH on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 10 AM. A private family burial will be held in Lexington, MA. Donations may be made in Adelines memory to St. Paul Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 3 Craftsman Lane, Amherst, NH 03031 or to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, E. Desmarais, Home Health Foundation, 360 Merrimack St., Bldg. 9, Entrance I, Lawrence, MA 01843, Lawrence, MA. Final arrangements are being handled by Davis Funeral Home in Nashua, NH.
