Adolpho Passarini Obituary

Auburndale, FL, of Winter Haven, FL passed away from cancer on Saturday, July 26 2008 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residents Center in Auburndale Florida. He was 87 years old. A native of Newton MA. Born September 9, 1920, Adolpho moved to Florida in 2002 from Massachusetts. After serving in the Army during World War II, Adolpho returned to Newton to help his father Tito start and develop T. Passarini & Company, the family pet food business. He also developed and operated a food distribution retail business, owned and operated Passarini's Variety Store, and worked in security for Boston College and for private industry. Adolpho was preceded in death by his first wife of 57 years: Dorina Passarini. He is survived by his wife: Barbara Jean Passarini of Winter Haven Florida; his sons: Albert Passarini of Franklin, MA. Dr. John R. Passarini of Lexington MA, and Robert Passarini of Florida. He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Ann Gober of Shrewsbury, MA. seven grandchildren children, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven FL. on Tuesday July 29. Interment followed with a military service at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Contributions can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave. Auburndale, FL. 33823.

To Bob and family I am sorry for your loss. Adolpho was a good man who always made me feel welcome and at home. I'm glad he found happiness in Florida after the death of Dorina. I will never forget him
