ALAN I. WIENER

WIENER, Alan I. Age 87, of Lexington, Massachusetts passed away on March 5, 2023. Alan grew up in West Long Branch, New Jersey, with his loving parents, Mary and Jacob. Alan graduated with an electrical engineering degree from MIT, and had a successful career where he was credited with multiple patents for government defense projects. Alan loved spending time with family and friends, sailing, and working on his boat, as well as projects in and around his home. He also enjoyed traveling and attending plays and the symphony with his loving wife, Sandra, of 64 years. Alan is survived by his wife, Sandra; his sons, Jeffrey and Larry; daughter-in-law, Karen; and grandchildren, Samantha and Zach. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, at noon, at Westview Cemetery in Lexington. A Shiva will take place at Alan and Sandra's home Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 7-9 pm.
