DEMETER, Alexander C. Of Medford, March 5, age 92. Beloved husband of Suzanne (Ballou). Loving father of Dean R. and Janine M. Demeter and Faith Demeter Longobucco of Torrington, CT. Devoted brother of Darcy Wheaton of Brighton and Constance Prescott of Wellesley. Devoted grandfather of Kerry Lynne Longobucco of Apalachin, NY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Elizabeth Christos and Nicolette White and father-in-law of the late Domenic Longobucco. His funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Ave., MEDFORD on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service from 9 to 10:30 AM. Interment, Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Donations in Alex's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
