Alexander Toner Obituary

In Canton formerly of Mission Hill, died Thursday Aug. 24, 2006, Born in Belfast, N. Ireland, he enlisted in U.S. Army, serving in European and African Theaters for the duration of WWII. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Cis Rooney) Toner, he leaves too cherish his memory always his daughter Mary and her husband Edward MacDonald of Canton, his sons Patrick of Atlanta, Georgia, John of Mission Hill and Francis of Mission Hill and nieces and nephews of Philadelphia and a large family circle of Castlewellan, Co. Down, N. Ireland. He will be missed by all his family and friends who loved him. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Monday, Aug. 28, at 8:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in the St. John Chrysostom Church at 10 o'clock. Visiting hours Sunday 5-8 pm.
