I was shocked to see that I missed this news about Amy. I was an arts editor at The Tab newspapers back when Amy was managing Shear Madness. She was such an exubertant person and it was always cool when Amy and I interacted (by phone, in those days) about the show. Sorry to hear this news.

Amy has always been a bright light in my life since the time I was tiny. I´m so grateful that she´s been part of my life literally since I was born. I wish that she is free of suffering, at ease. Amy brought so much joy to her friends. I know that the ripple effect of her goodness is spreading outwards even now.

Amy had a real interest in getting to know everyone she met. Generous, kind, playful, thoughtful, straightforward, and easy going are just a few of her qualities. Everyone will miss you. My heart goes out to Ronda, her second half, brother Johnny and dear friend Barbara Herson.
