Of Nashville, TN and Atlanta, GA, December 14, 2004. Formerly of Boston. Husband of Mary Ellen Gaines. Dear father of Jeanette Gaines Yancey, Richard Gaines and daughter-in-law Mozelle, Donna Gaines Sudano and her husband Bruce, Linda Gaines Lotman and her husband Lawrence, Mary Ellen Gaines Bernard and her husband Gerardo, Dara Gaines Bernard and the late Andrea D. Gaines Tesfayohannes. Brother of Eula Gaines Brown and George Gaines. He is survived by 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service Saturday at 12 noon at Grant A.M.E. Church, 1906 Washington Street, Roxbury. Visiting with the family at 11 AM. Burial Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain. Davis Funeral Home 617-427-0828

Sorry to hear of your loss please be assured of our deepest sympathy. I remember the days from Hubert Street, and Orchard Park. Those were the good days! I have the fondest memories of those days. I hope to hear that you have recieved this, and maybe you even remember the days as i have. May God be with you and yours. My daughter Denise went to school with Dara, please pass that on to her. (Denise Wornum) now Denise Lamb.

My late husband Jesse Wornum, worked with your husband at New England Dress Meat, and Wool Company in Somerville, Ma. My husband passed in 1981.
