NAPOLITANO, Angelo A. Of Reading, formerly of Everett, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a prolonged fight with Alzheimer's disease on February 9, 2021. Son of the late Dora and Anthony Napolitano of Everett. Beloved husband for 54 years of Patricia A. Napolitano, who predeceases him. Loving father of Andrew Napolitano and Steven Napolitano and his wife Elizabeth. Proud "Papa" of their children, Luke and Ava, with whom he was blessed to enjoy many years of laughter and accomplishments, and who loved and miss him greatly. Loving brother of Connie White, who predeceases him, and her husband Ken. Beloved uncle of his nieces, Elaine Pannetton and her husband Michael and Denise Schille and her husband Andrew. Loving brother-in-law of Sandra Ozahowski, and treasured counsel to many beloved cousins and extended family members. He will be missed dearly by his family and his many friends. Angelo graduated from Everett High School, Boston College and Salem State University. A lover of sports and travel, particularly of Aruba, where he enjoyed vacationing with his wife for nearly 30 years. He spent his career at the Malden Redevelopment Authority, where he worked for nearly 40 years to make that community a better place for its residents. Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (Rt. 28), STONEHAM, Thursday, February 18th at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Angelo's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Covid-19 protocols will be followed. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Angelo's family on Wednesday, February 17th from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Due to state regulations for Covid-19, a mask is required while in the funeral home and we are allowed up to 40% capacity in the funeral home at one time. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
