ANN MECONIATES Obituary
(McCarthy) Age 92, of N. Reading, formerly of Dorchester and Stoneham, Aug. 25, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Charles Meconiates. Devoted mother of Donna Meconiates of Boston, William Meconiates & his wife Christine Lloyd of Whitman, and Nancy Duchard of Peabody. Sister of the late Gerard McCarthy and Mary DeVasto. Also survived by five grandchildren and four great- grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Ann's Church, NEPONSET, Fri., Aug. 29, at 11 A.M. Visiting hours in the Dolan Funeral Home, 1140 Washington St., DORCHESTER LOWER MILLS, Fri. 9:30-10:30 A.M. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston. Ann was such a wonderful presence in my life who was always a kind and patient influence. She and my mother were close friends, so that Donna and I became close and lifelong friends to this day. Thank you Ann for being in my life. Love, Tina (aka, Christina)
