ALONGI, Anna R. (DeStefano) In Winthrop, formerly of Revere, at 78 years, on Ash Wednesday evening, Feb. 17, with an abundance of family & love surrounding her, following a long illness. Wife of the late Joseph S. Alongi. Cherished mother of Joseph S. Alongi Jr. & wife Janice of Sagamore Beach, MA, Ann Marie Dwyer & husband Richard of Derry, NH, Carol J. Khoylian & husband Arman of Glendale, CA, & Patricia A. Judge & her late husband Frank of Salem, MA. Dear grandmother of Sierra Jo-Anna Judge of Salem, & Kathryn M. Alongi of Sagamore Beach, MA. Dear sister of Joseph DeStefano, Anita Vinciarelli & husband Anthony, Margaret Johnson & M. Louise Powers all of Revere, Leonard DeStefano, Carl DeStefano & wife Sheila all of Winthrop, Sylvia Michetti & husband Robert of Wallingford, CT & Marie Lupien & husband Mark of Sudbury. Also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces & grand nephews. Family & friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Vertuccio Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE, on Monday, Feb. 22, at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John the Evangelist Church, Winthrop at 10 a.m. Visiting hours are Sunday only 4-8 p.m. Parking available in the lot left of the funeral home.
