ANNE M. FOSHEY

FOSHEY, Anne M. (Welchlin) Of Holbrook, formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2022, after a long illness, at the age of 79. Born in Boston, Anne grew up in Jamaica Plain and graduated from Blessed Sacrament High School and later went on to attend Massasoit College. Anne worked for many years as a clerk for a manufacturing company in Rockland. In her free time, Anne had many passions including, traveling, shopping, cooking and baking, cake decorating, crossword puzzles and she was an avid reader, however, her greatest joy was spending precious time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren and her 3 adored great-grandchildren. Anne was also a member of the Holbrook Historical Society. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Anne will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Anne was the beloved wife of 54 years to Robert Foshey and former wife of the late Robert B. Manning. Loving mother of Maryjane Campbell of Quincy, Elizabeth Stevens of WY, and Kathleen Mooney and her husband Joseph of Hingham. Dear mother-in-law of George Campbell. Devoted sister of Grace Donahue and her husband Joseph of W. Roxbury, Paula Scanlon and her husband James of Myrtle Beach, SC, George Welchlin of W. Roxbury, Daniel Welchlin and his wife Emma of Taunton, the late Jane Redmond, and Marylou Hallissey. Cherished "Nana" to Kristan Campbell, Joshua Stevens, Robert Stevens and his wife Kate, Eric Campbell and Sarah Campbell and her fianc? Joseph Inacio. Darling "Great Nana" to Cameron Campbell and Nicholas and Michael Stevens. Adopted Mother to Vicky Henry and the late Mary Anne Hallissey. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her grand dogs. The family would like to give a special Thank You to the Bowers family for their years of love and support. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Visiting Hours on Thursday, January 27th, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM, in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (RT. 37), HOLBROOK. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 28th, at 10:30 AM, in St. Joseph Church, 153 So. Franklin St., Holbrook. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Holbrook.
