ANTHONY ARDUINO Obituary

ARDUINO, Anthony "Tony" Of Needham, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022. Tony is survived by his wife Edith (Bianchi) Arduino; children Phyllis Arduino, Deb Arduino Giordano, her husband Nick Giordano; grandchildren Nico, Matthew and Isabella; as well as his siblings and many nieces and nephews. Tony was born in Capistrano, Italy, and came to the United States at the age of 14. Tony was a self made man who's strong work ethic, unquestionable integrity, and outgoing personality earned him friends throughout the town of Needham. Tony resided in Needham for his entire life and was an employee of the town. Tony also was self employed by Tony's Landscaping company. Tony was well known for his perfectionism. Whether it was his perfectly groomed lawn or his amazing tomato plants Tony took tremendous pride and care in everything that he did. When not in his yard, you could find Tony holding court with his friends at the local McDonald's, eating an egg McMuffin and drinking his coffee while talking about the Boston Red Sox. Tony will be remembered for his vibrant smile, contagious laugh, and his love for chestnuts, wine, and cigars. The Burial was private at Needham Cemetery. Phyllis, just saw the obit for your dad, my condolences to you and your family!
When I got out of the military, I worked in Needham for a bit and used to see your dad working around town and had nothing but respect for his work ethic!! I was working in your neighborhood one day and your dad invited us to have a coffee with him in the front yard(really liked him). all this was before I got to know you(just wanted to let you know) wishing you and your family all the best.
