My most deepest expressions of sympathy go out to the family of Anthony Carrara for the loss of a great husband, father and grandfather--a truly great man. Tony was not just some nice guy—he was one in a million! I knew Tony since 1967, when I met him at the Charlestown Naval Shipyard, where we had occasion to confer on many improvements prior to their implementations to payroll program affecting all the shipyards. Thereafter, Tony and I sat only three feet apart in an office we shared at the Norwood Senior Center as associate editors of the monthly Newsletter, etc. for the past 20+ years. I have never heard Tony refuse to help anyone—on the spot. He would drop whatever he was doing and help them with whatever problem they presented—and especially taxes. Tony never said “No” to anyone. That’s the kind of a guy Tony was. God bless you, Tony! You will be very greatly missed. God Bless! And Aloha!
