ANTHONY PRIMO Obituary

PRIMO, Anthony C. Age 63 of Weymouth, formerly of Somerville and the North End passed away Dec. 9, 2012. Beloved husband of 40 years of Barbara A. (Sullivan) Primo. Devoted father of Anthony J. and his wife Kate Primo of Quincy, Michelle Primo-DeRosa and her husband Keith of Wrentham and Mark J. Primo of Weymouth. Loving son of Vincenza "Tina" (Misuraca) Primo of Revere and the late Joseph Primo. Brother of Salvatore Primo of Mansfield and Joseph Primo of Everett. Loving grandfather of Michael and Anna Primo and Giuliana DeRosa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Anthony was a Senior Project Engineer for Noresco Corporation in Westborough. He was formerly employed by Parsons Corporation, Vanderweil Engineering, and Raytheon (United Engineering). He was an active member of the Fisherman's Feast "Madonna DelSoccorso Society" in the North End for many years. He was a former CCD teacher at St. Francis Xavier Church, a Weymouth Youth Soccer Coach and former President of Weymouth Youth Soccer. He graduated from English High School and the University of Massachusetts, Lowell (Lowell Tech). Funeral from McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rte. 18 opp South Shore Hospital) Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Saint Frances Xavier Church, South Weymouth at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM. Interment, Saint Michael's Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anthony's memory to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
