Anthony Seferian Obituary

SEFERIAN, Anthony Of Watertown, on November 14, 2008. Beloved husband of Alice (Baharian) Seferian. Devoted father of James Seferian and his wife Lisa of Wayland, Cynthia Magarian and her husband James of Tyngsboro, Alan Seferian and his wife Marlene of Lexington and Daniel Seferian and his wife Colleen of Reading. Adored grandfather of 9 devoted grandchildren. Dear brother of Nora Kalajian and Lucy Jelladian, both of Watertown and the late Rose Zeytoonian, Sarah Chotilian and Grace LaGreca. Services at St. James' Armenian Church, 465 Mt. Auburn St., Watertown, on Monday, November 17 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours in the Mt. Auburn Chapel of the Giragosian Funeral Home, 576 Mt. Auburn St., (Rt. 16), WATERTOWN on Sunday, 5-8 PM. Interment Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to St. James' Armenian Church. Anthony was an avid Red Sox Fan, a member of Waltham Triad Masonic Lodge A.F. & A.M, Amvets Post #41 and a Veteran of W.W. II, Army. Mr. Seferian,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

To Aunt Alice, Jimmy, Cynthia, Alan and Danny,

Uncle Anthony was always a special uncle. I cannot think of too many people who were as humble, kind and loving as he was. The one thing I will always remember as a young girl and even as an adult visiting from out of state was Uncle sitting his chair in his front room with his big smile, talking baseball, Red Sox, as usual. He sat peacefully while Aunt Alice ran around bringing this and that...usually food! He was a classic. He was blessed with a wonderful family and got to see and enjoy his many grandchildren.
We will miss him dearly.
