Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Stephanie (Nacewicz) and Anthony J. Shaker. He was the husband of Sandra (Maheu) for 26 years, prior to her passing. Anthony's professional career spanned decades in the commercial HVAC industry. He was the owner of BALCO, BTE, ESI and Enfinity companies. Following the sale of his companies, Anthony served as a consultant for EMCOR. He served as the past president of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), where his contributions helped shape the industry. Outside of his professional life, Anthony was a passionate and active man. For over 40 years, he was a valued member of the New Seabury Country Club, where he enjoyed countless hours on the golf course and hanging out with his golf friends of more than 40 years. A sports enthusiast, he was an avid pickle ball player and found great joy in deep-sea fishing and spending time on his boat, Desperado 2.0. He ran 21 marathons during his lifetime, proudly participating in the Boston Marathon 12 times. Anthony is survived by his daughter, Lindsay McDermott of Hopkinton; his siblings, Joyce Bodak and her husband, Michael of Southwick, MA, Thomas Shaker and his wife, Nancy of Westfield, MA; sister-in-law, Jane Maheu of New Seabury, MA; five grandchildren, Conor, Taylor, Madison, Piper and Brody of Hopkinton; as well as his nieces and nephews, Cheryl Sunshine, Mark Bodak, Tyler, Nicole and Ryan Maheu and Courtney Sullivan. Lindsay and family,
For the past ten years Tony was our Naples neighbor and good friend. He was a kind and caring man. On the light side Tony introduced us to Lebanese food which he so loved. It's hard to believe he is not with us anymore. He will be dearly missed. Our sincere condolence to all. Bob & Beth Shea Naples ,FL.

A friend of Tony´s from Planet Fitness where we had many discussions and laughs about running fitness and overall fitness. My fondest memory was the day we made Italian pizzelles and used everything from extracts to liqueurs. We had a blast
A great man who was so proud of his family especially his grandchildren which he was so proud!
