ARLENE DICKEN Obituary

DICKEN, Arlene Boyer Age 91, of Weston, formerly of Scottsdale, AZ, died peacefully, on November 22, 2025, with family by her side. She was born on November 25, 1933 in York, PA, the daughter of the late Russell C. Boyer and Pearl R. (Glatfelter) Boyer. Arlene was the wife for 58 years of Howard Keith Dicken of Weston; and mother of Carter Grayson Dicken and his wife, Amy, of Punxsutawney, PA and Rebecca Dicken Kano and her husband, Zachary, of Weston. Grandmother of Liam, Ryan and Gavin Dicken, Zachary, Henry, Elias, Margaret and Caroline Kano; and sister of Michael Conrad Boyer and his wife, Barbara, of York, PA. Also survived by her former daughter-in-law, Victoria Dicken of Marchand, PA; and nephew, Michael Christopher Boyer, of Lititz, PA. She spent her formative years in York, PA and was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University College of Nursing and Arizona State University. During her nursing career, Arlene was a member of the nursing staff for one of the first open heart surgeries at New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Visitation on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd. (off Rte. 30), WAYLAND. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery, Weston.
