DOERING, Barbara Ruth (Daley) Born May 21, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, November 5, at Milford Memorial Regional Hospital. A devout Catholic, she and her late husband, Don raised seven children. She was born in Illinois and lived in Colorado, Germany, Ohio and Massachusetts. Known for being selfless, calm and supportive, she enjoyed tennis, water skiing, snow skiing, gardening and, later in life, bird watching in her free time. Throughout her life, she lost her father, Lawrence Daley; her brother, Larry Daley; her mother, Agnes Daley; her son, David Doering; and her husband, Don Doering. She is survived by her children, Wendy Kennedy, Doug Doering, Peter Doering, Mark Doering, Matt Doering and Pat Doering; son-in-law, Peter Kennedy; daughters-in-law, Di Doering and Maria Doering; her eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. To honor her legacy, please emulate her selfless and caring nature, and stop to watch the birds every once in a while. Services will be held at St. Theresa's church in Sherborn on Monday, November 13, at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations to be made to the Respite Center in Hopkinton, an organization she loved.
