My Aunt Barbara was a special and unique person. She was giving, loving and thought only of others. She will be sadly missed by her family as well as all who knew her and were comforted or aided by her. May her memory live on in the hearts and minds of those she touched. May the work she started so long ago for the homeless and those in need; continue by those she was an example to.

When I married my husband Micah Power I felt blessed and when I met his Godmother Barbara I was certain that I had been blessed again. She visited us often and always brought an aura of simplicity and wisdom. I always knew that whatever question was asked of her she would only answer in truth, a truth that resonated passion and confidence. I am blessed to have known Barbara and as tears fall, I will miss her.
